Stress, Anxiety & Depression are very common in the general population. NHS Choices has an excellent summary of symptoms and treatments available here.

There are many excellent web-based resources, based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). 

CBT is an established form of therapy which aims to help you look at (and then adapt) the way you think, feel and behave. A good summary of this form of treatment is available through the Patient UK website here
Computer based CBT, known as cCBT, has been approved by experts as a valid form of treatment for depression and anxiety. The Royal College of Psychiatrists website has a further explanation of the principles of CBT here
