Pregnancy Care

Content Supplied by NHS Choices

During the first 8-9 weeks of pregnancy you will need to register with the midwife.  Patients of Hurstpierpoint should book with Fiona Allen and patients registered with Hassocks and Ditchling need to book with Lisa Jury.  They are both based in the Princess Royal Hospital, where antenatal clinics are run, and you can ring for an appointment on 01444 448608.  Please do not call the surgery.

Visit and fill out the referral details which will generate a scan appointment.  The booking questionnaire needs to be printed and filled in.

The more you know about your pregnancy and your options, the more you are likely to feel in control. The information given here is based on The Pregnancy Book, which your midwife should give you at your first appointment.
